if its a manual there will be a clutch pedal, and the shifter is the black thing on the floor with 6 gears and an 'R'

if it is an auto, there will be no pedal, and the shifter will be on the steering column.

If it is an 04.5, it has the 48re if it is an automatic, or the NV5600 if it is a stick (look for the clutch pedal to confirm)

And if you want to go faster, just keep moving the black thing to the higher numbers. Of course, if you REALLY want to go fast, just move it to 'R' for 'Race'!!
