Strange noise

I have a weird sound coming from my left front wheel. Sounds like I have a loose rock in the wheel cap. Could it be a bearing issue? Haven't pulled the cap to check if there is a rock in there.

Change the caps around, put it on the right rear. Mine was doing the same thing, I switched the caps around and now there is no sound...

I have the same problem and it is driving me nuts, although mine sounds like a nail in the tire. I haven't tried moving the caps around, but if that was the problem it would just put the noise somehere else.

Sorry to tell you this but the bearings are shot, you'll need to take it to the dealer for warranty work. Even if you switch center covers its just a temporary fix. The cover applies just enough force to tighten the bearings for a little while. You can also add relative bearing grease to solve the problem for good. If you find a rock in the center cap leave it in there. Its suppose to be there for balancing, in fact add acouple more for better balancing.

Thanks for the replies. I'm pretty sure it's the caps too. I can't get them off from the oustside, so I'll wait til I get them rotated and have 'em switched around.

i have the same noise, and i don't run the factory wheels and centre caps.
i have narrowed it down to bad u joints in the axles or a bearing going bad, not sure which one i want it to be as this is going to get expensive!!!!!

I found out the clicking sound coming from the front drivers side was my outer rim cracking due to the pressure of the 315's, I have the chrome stock wheels.
