rotella vs mobil delvac

I'm getting ready to do my first oil change, and trying to decide on these two brands of oil. I'm staying with non- synthetic for a while, so would like to hear from you guys that's been there and done that. I,ve always heard good about mobil brand oils. What do ya,ll think?
Thanks Wayne

Rotella is good but has a real strong smell. I used it the first couple of oil changes . I thought the smell was normal. Now I use the delvac not smelly at all.

Exclamation Pricing

Rotella is cheaper than the Delvac in my area, but about $5.00 per gallon. I just bought 3 gallons of Delvac1 at $20.99 per gallon at a store called Farm & Fleet in my area. I could not find the Mobil1 Truck and SUV to same my life, but it did not matter as the cost came out to about the same.

Cold flow is better with Delvac 1300 than Rotella T. Also Delvac doesn't stink.

Kinda off the subject but if you're really into lots of oil changes, you can buy Rotella T at Sam's Club in 55 gallon drums for about a dollar less a gallon than when buying gallon sizes. Also, you have a 55 gallon drum to burn your trash in after the oil is gone.

A few weeks ago I bought 3 gallons of Rotella at Walmart, as I was leaving the automotive section I noticed they now carried it in 5 gallon buckets for less $ per gallon. I figured I would spill too much trying to transfer it out though.
