I just finished installing a 4" superlift on my dually, I've been running 285's (33") on her, but I have 6 new baja claws sitting in my garage, HOWEVER..... I think I have a problem... so this question is for anyone with a lifted dually....

When you put wider tires (35X12.5) are they going to rub the upper leaf spring retainer plate? Right now with my 33X11.5's they are about 1/2 inch away???? Any experiences???

 

I have the BFG 315's on my dually and they don't rub but there is also not much room either. Since you already have the tires I would mount one a do a test fit, you could always add a small 1/4" spacer behind the inside dual if you had to.

I think CCoughran(sp?) had 315's on his dually with no lift.

Are you using stock wheels? My front (see pics) are too wide now with the 35's, they fit with the 33's, but rub now with 35's.

I'm going to have to buy 17X8..... what is the backspacing on a stock wheel?
