Gotta change my signature because Amsoil just got too expensive. On my
3rd oil change with the Rotella T6 synthetic. I think it performs as well as Amsoil. All the specs seem to be comparable that I have seen and the price is right. I still use the Mopar regular filter. Everyone else seems to like it because Wally World can't keep enough in stock around here.

Hey I’m new too the diesel world. I may sound like an idiot but would it be ok to store my 05 5.9 Cummins for the winter with the t6 15-40? Thanks in advance

The answer is yes.

The thinner oil people use in the winter is to make cold starting easier, which when you live in a place like I do that sees -30F every winter helps.
I store several of my Cummins trucks for the winter with the summer weight oil in them. Most of them get to over winter in my heated shop anyway.
