Replacing the fan clutch

I have the A/C blowing warm air when stopped, so I believe the fan clutch is bad. I ordered the new fan clutch and have some questions about installing it. I have the fan clutch removal wrenches, but none of them fit. I know for a fact that the nut is smaller than 36mm, probably around 34.

Does the radiatior have to be removed to get the fan and clutch assembly off? Or do I just remove the 4 nuts from the shroud and pull it from the top/bottom? Is there a special wrench that is used to remove the clutch?

Thanks for the help.

I use a 36mm fan cluch tool and take out the shroud bolts then remove the fan and shroud at the same time from the top.

Thanks for the help, I think the wrench that I got from the autoparts store might be a large 36mm or something, it sure had a lot of slack in it.
