Dual FP Gauges?

Is it possible to run dual fuel pressure gauges on these motors (to go across the fuel filter) like on the non-Common-Rail motors? Can you do it using regular FP gauges, or do you have to use the expensive common-rail 30,000 psi gauges?

It sounds like you are wanting to moniter pre CP3 fuel pressure, ie: lift pump pressure right, not the internal rail pressure? If so yes. I have my FP gauge tapped into the banjo bolt on the inlet to the CP3, so it registers psi at the pump intake which is after the stock fuel filter and a 2 micron spin on filter. I also have a mechanical pressure gauge (under the hood) plumbed to the intake side of the OEM filter housing which gives me the pre filter pressure the Walbro puts up. I could moniter that in the cab with another sending unit and a toggle switch but didn't see a real need to. I figure if I have positive pressure at the CP3, the filters are not pluged up, drops in normal pressure would cause me to check the filters though. Hope that is what you were asking about.
