Anybody have a resource for a 2005 pull out,long block or short block.I am in need of one for a customer to get his truck back up and running.Have been looking but can't seem to find any.If we can't find one,going to do a rebuild but he is pressed for time,needs truck for work. Thanks

 

what on earth happened?? First time I have heard something so new needing a motor

 

Been a lot of used or take out engines I thought on E/bay.Someone had a PILE of them complete for sale.Any one remember the source????

Kind of mixed up the jug with 50/50 water meth with the jug with straight 100% meth.He mad four passes down the 1/8 with 50/50 ran some good times then filled it back up with 100% "by accident" meth blew #5 and #6 piston by half track.Pulled of manifold and was picking rings out of the exhaust ports.Tried to get him to stay drug free but just would'nt listen.

 

Already looked at fordcummins.com little to much money for what we need If we could find just a long block or short block probally be cheaper Just got of the phone with customer think he just going to do a rebuild problem is he is in a time crunch and I moved my shop from south Florida to Tennesee in Jan,guess I need to find a good machine shop now in the Knoxville area, going to ship me the engine next week.Thanks for the replys.

I may be missinformed but wernt they selling complete crate cummins for around 6K a year or so ago????

lol yeah just take the box and meth off and tell the dealer you were cruising down the highway and it went boom. Like we haven't seen that here before.
