Hey all, ANyone know how much a replacement 24v is? Just the whole thing, theres nothing wrong with mine...... yet. But im gonna do some experiments with alternitive fuels. So im trying to decide if i should go find a cheep truck with the miles and stuff in it or if a new engine is about the same ( cause then id get a new warrenty anywa haha) Thanks for the input

 

You can get a long block ISB (24V) from Cummins for about $7500 to $8000.<br>Thats what they quoted me over the phone anyway.<br><br>Rich

 

Someone one here posted that Cummins NW was closing out several versions of the 24v ISB. They were 5995.00 or there abouts. I dont know if it is still going on but it might be worth checking out.

 

Within the last two weeks I saw two different auctions on ebay for 24v. One for the HO and one for the regular. The seller said he had 10 engines of one and a few less of the other. The seller claimed they were new - I believe they had a buy it now of 4995 to 6995 - the HO was the higher of the two.
