Never seen one leak on a Cummins. Its NOT a quick job if it is.Engine has to be hosted up at min.to remove it,won't come off engine in frame unless something changed on 3gs..Most common oil on oil pan is from blowby tube(normal)or coming from something else. The caliper is covered by extended service contract as is most powersteering parts.Oil pan gasket covered under the Cummin engine and fuel warranty not service contract.

On the 3rd Gen you can remove the oil pan without lifting the engine. I guess they allowed enough room. Just drop the pan as low as it will go and reach in and take the oil pump pickup tube off and then you can slide the pan off. Sound easy on paper I know

I'm about ready to take mine in for a leak as well. Last time I was pressure washing underneath, I noticed a decent leak in the rear main seal area. Fairly wet with oil, and a drip hanging, surprisingly no mess on the driveway from it. Just under 3k on the warranty left, hopefully I will get her in there before it expires...
