Oil pan gasket

I will be changing my clutch in the next couple of days. My oil pan gasket is leaking a little, so I think I will change it while the tranny is off. It is a 1992 W-250. Can I remove the pan without jacking the engine or even loosening the motor mounts? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I would think you could if you jack the truck up, support it by the frame with stands, then let the alxe droop down farther.

Could remove the front tires to do it if you don't want to get it that high in the air.

While were on the topic of oil pans

If anybody has a old or destroyed oil pan and looking to sell it ultra cheap, i'm looking to make up a design for an aluminum pan. I need to know the layout of the gasket flange and I don't want to trust going off a gasket. The flange plate I would have CNC routered to size.

Den,

I have a old rusted destroyed oil pan that is waiting to go to the scrap yard. If you really want it I could pack it up an ship it. The flange is what rusted. So I don't know if it is what you want. What do you want to offer me?

Is it cleanable rust so I have a good pattern, or is it rotted? We have a sandblast company that is owned by my boss and works out of the same building I do. So a clean up is no problem.

Send me your price via IM.
