hello,
I have a sqweek under the hood when i shut my truck off it only does it when its fully warmed up. It is a pretty loud one i was wondering what any of you think it could be. I just had the fan an clutch all replaced on it b/c the fan clutch exploded. Also it doesnt matter if the A/C is on or off sounds like left side front of motor everything looks in order. its an 04 with 62000 on it. Also the a/c dosnt work any thoughts of what that could be?

is it a chirp or a sqweek?

I know that the chirp is from the engine stopping faster than the accessory drive belt.

My new 07 does it when I shut off the engine with a/c on or not, I don't think it's anything to worry about.

 

CHIRP GOOD!!! Means you've got plenty of compression dont worry about it it will be fine if it quits I would worry
