Cord for block heater, where can I find one cheap?
I did a search and could not find out where some are getting the cord for the block heater for the 5.9. DC gets $50 or so, Cummins quoted me for the long cord $33 or so. I thought someone said AutoZone or NAPA had them for $15-20 range. If you know for sure please advise where and if you know it the part number to order it. Also price you paid. My 07 did't have the cord installed so being in Michigan guess I better get one prior to winter.
I didn't know/think about the Kenworth idea, so got mine off ebay for $24.05 delivered to my door.
Don't know if he has any more, but he sells lots of parts, here's the link:

I got mine at Cummins norhteast, it was $10.00, but I have a commercial acct, ask the parts counter for the wholsale price, most times they will give it to you.

Genos garage was like $20something, bought it when I was ordering some oil and fuel filters...
Could probably get it at a local Cummins cheaper though, but never had the time to drive up there to buy one...

OK, found on at my local International dealer. They service & sell many differetn types of truck & engines, had it in stock, under $14 with tax and long cord.
I'm happy, now all I have to do is get it installed.
Thanks for all the replies

Plug it in and screw on the connector! Just double check the wire routing going towards the front bumper to make sure it won't rub through on anything. I used wire ties to affix it securely.
