Mobile 1 atf does it meet specs for G56 and transfer case
motrapper,
You are correct as the last time I looked at Mobil 1 ATF it was not made for use in Dodge transmissions that required ATF+4 fluid. The only ones I've seen on the store shelf who have approved ATF+4 fluid are Mopar, Valvoline and Wally World brand. IIRC in the full synthetic world only Redline and Amsoil have a ATF+4 fluid.

Mobil 1 AFT will screw up your tcase!
A few years ago, I put some in my old '93 Dakota 4x4's tcase and it would pop out of 4HI.
I then flushed it out and replaced it with Amsoil ATF and it shifted flawlessly.
Still working great to this day with 180,000+ miles on the stock tcase.

What am i suppose to see in the pic? What happened?
And I called Mobil Oil a few months ago and they say a NO to using the M1 atf in the G56 as it does not meets all requirements.
