lift pump?
Does anyone know the part numbers for the 2005 fuel tanks and the sending units? I am looking into replacing the LP on my 2003 but I want to use an in-tank pump. That's the only way to go.
I wonder if the CP3 is just lower than the fuel tank on the dmax? I'm sure you could gravity feed the CP3 to get moving in a pinch, too.
Carrying spare parts on a truck this expensive is crap, I agree about that one!

Scottys - Fuel system works great & easy to install.
One thing I have noticed is that oilfield service hands that show up on lease & leave thier trucks run - for extended intervals - like 24 - 7 - Seem to have had multiple stock fuel pump failures - Dont know if its a result of the idling or what.

Just replaced mine. The truck has 50,000 miles and it took the dealership a week to get the pump. It failed at -20 weather so I couldn't even keep myself warm before the ever so fast tow truck came.
