Iced Wipers

Last night we had some snow and ice, and my windshield was covered in ice, so about luch time I came out and most of the ice was gone, but was still packed around the wipers, so I turned them on, and the came un jammed, could this do any damage to them or the motor??

Normally no unless you get forcefull with one wiper arm before the other one frees itself up.
