White Ghost what year is your truck? Do you have the procedure down? If not your repair may cost you more money and a down truck if done wrong. The new common rail diesels are touchy when it come to tightening procedures especialy on injectors. If you try removing one of these I hope you know what you're doing. Good Luck

How did you find out what injectors needed to be replaced. My truck smokes alot, I think one of the injectors is clogged. Does any know if you can take them apart and clean them.

try cracking the lines one by one and see if it makes a difference. Kindof like pulling spark plug wires on a gasser to find a miss.

Dangerous idea for '03 and newer. Could inject High Pressure diesel into your hand. Not "on to", but "into" your hand.
Back to morning beverage of choice.

Propper Answer:

i went to the dealer and had them hook it up to their computer. this not only saved me time.but,it saved me some money. my truck was only down for two days.that is the most important thing as i am a hotshot driver. i hope that helps.
