grinding and vibration on 06 2500

Ive got a strange one here , my 06 2500 short bed has 4 1/2 " pro fab lift 34" toyo tires on it,when im at like 50-60 i hear it worse and it gets a lil worse the faster i go, when i go over a hump in the road where it unloads the springs it really gets bad, also does it when turning right some times but never did it going left, ive had it at the dealer 2 times now, they changed the converter which i told them it wasnt that because it doesnt change with rpm, it sounds like it has a built in peanute cherner under the truck, sounds like a grind and i can feel it in the truck, not always there but always there over 50mph im lost didnt know if anyone else had the issue or if its from the lift, its getting worse checked the hubs and u joints all seem to be good, changed tires same thing not that changing them would do anything for the grinding noince i feel thru the floor pan, almost feels like its up front, any help would be appreciated

More than likely you need the dropdown bracket for the transfercase....mine did the same thing when I added a 2in spacer on top of my 4in. lift , and it drove me CRAZY trying to figure out what it was. The dealer didn`t have a clue , and the guy I got the lift from didn`t know either , as he had the lift on his truck with NO noises....

I got mine from Superlift (as well as the correct 6in. springs...no more spacers), and it totally cured my noise/grining problems.

How long have you had that lift on?

Almost sounds like a wheel bearing to me...

OK...

If it's been doing it that long...

Can't believe whoever installed the lift didn't put the drop bracket on.

it has been getting worse since i bought it, it was there here and there now it more than there, really notice it the most towing when it takes the weight off the front end and going over a hump in the road thats why i believe it may be the tranferr case bracket too,ill get that and try it first, i get rid of the **** noise ill be happy thanks for everyones input so far, dont know unless you ask

I would be VERY suprised if the drop bracket doesn`t cure it...

BTW...truck looks good , but you need to add some pics to your gallery , so we can see a bigger picture of it
