Gear Oil

Any appreciable differences in Royal Purple, Red Line, and Mobile 1? Not going Amsoil until warranty is up. It is time for 15k change and am debating as to what is best. Obviously M1 is available everywhere, is it any better/worse than the others? RL and RP seem to be very popular!

I think if you ask 10 different people, you'll get 10 different answers as to which of the oils is "the only one to use".

no - ten diff people and 10 answers each = 100 confusing comments and opinions...

just for the record - I too may mulling over ATF and GEAR oil... redline, amsoil, other, mopar.. it may just come down to which one the dealer cummins mech. lets me put in it... I know he is OK about some of the "boxes" banks/etc put on the truck... what he really cares about is are you getting good care of your truck and not doing something stupid....
