I checked the Baldwin website again and I stand corrected, it does not say 7 micron, I mistook a 7 on the page to be the spec. However, I still cannot see anywhere on the website that it is 5 micron. I purchased one from a local baldwin distributer and the invoice description sez "PF7977 fuel filter 7 micron". I am using it anyway, I just wanted to know specifically where everyone learned it was a 5 micron filter that's all.

I received the information from Baldwin tech department a couple of years ago.

2 micron nominal and 5 micron absolute at 98% efficiency.

Thanks....I'm going to be using this from now on. Even if it was a 7 micron filter, it's half the price from Dodge and NAPA.
