fuel filter problems
Just stick to the premium 'best' fleetguard. They are pretty cheap from Geno's Garage. I think I bought 6 of them for under $80 and it takes like 15 minutes from popping the hood to putting up your tools to change it. Really easy. Easiest filter I've ever changed.
Just mark the housing and cap with a line of nail polish so you know how tight to tighten it back up and don't forget to drain it before hand. I key it a few times before starting it back up although I don't know if it's necessary.

the truck was running fine when i turned it off. the next day cranked and cranked but no start . they took fuel sampels on the return side of the filter, put them in a clear glass container ,shined a flashlight through it , it looked like tiny little fibers floating in it , the wix rep was there to pickup the filter for testing and refused to look at the sample . im not makeing this up . all new injectors and pump and other related parts plus labor $ 9150 . im shure it could have been fixed for half that at any good independent shop but dodge would void the warrantie . possibly a bad choice since im not shure how good the warranti will be on the rest of the truck? but i chose to have the repaires done buy the dealer and keep the warrantie in force
