Front end grinding???
I got a problem and no idea what it is. When I'm coming to a stop and mash the brakes i can feel a grinding in the pedal. I thought it might have been my clutch, but it does it without pressing the clutch. If I coast to a stop it doesn't do it bad. But if i press the brakes hard i can really feel it just before the truck stops. sort of like something is rubbing. Do you guys have any idea what this might be or have ever had this problem??

How many miles on truck? If pads are ok I bet a front wheel bearing. Those big tires and wheels are kinda hard on them.Jack it up and wiggle tire back and forth, see if anything wobbles.

I agree with "hounddog" I had the same problem on my 98 Dodge years ago. My buddy has the same problem on his Ferdddd, realized it yesterday and getting parts (hopefully) today….. If you pull the wheel and push-pull on the backer plate that houses the lug nuts there should be no play, compare both fronts. Mine was a sealed system so it meant replacing a larger unit. Not sure on your truck, on the bright side it can be repaired in the drive with simple tools. This is why I enjoy this site; there is so much working knowledge and opinions based on experience that cover a lot of potential results. When ever I'm having an "unknown" problem, I get on-line and do one thing at a time, saves so much money in the end and your not just throwing parts or eliminating things one by one. OK I’m stepping off the soap box now.
