Front end grinding on left turn only

I've noticed last few months that when I make a left turn in 2wd I hear and feel grinding from the front driver side only. I did check the hubs recently and they seemed to be good still and I've had bad hubs before and the grinding I'm feeling and hearing doesn't resemble the one a bad hubs make. I'm thinking its a front axle U-joint? I did look at the brakes too and they are good. I didn't have time to pull the front end apart when I was checking it but It looked like the left front axle u-joint had some fresh rust on it. I'll have a chance to look at the truck again over Easter weekend.

Hubs are hard to tell unless there's weight on them. If it was a u-joint, your front end will kinda jump when you have you wheel turned. If you can, drive down a street with the window down, maybe it'll make some noise.

I do get a feel of binding/jumping when making a left turn.

I pulled my truck apart tonight, found a bad d/s axle shaft u-joint, sway bar links were very worn, steering box is worn, and the steering stabilizer was bad. Also have a leaking shock up front, gonna take the front shocks off in the morning. Now the good part is my hubs, tie rods, and ball joints are good. Gonna replace both axle ujoints, steering stabilizer, steering box and shock over the next few days. I installed new sway bar end links tonight.

Go ahead and wash it, too...

I think that is the only thing you didn't have on the list!
