What's the EXACT date of mfg? Look on the door sticker. There's an o4 and an 04.5. the later requires a cat. Also looks like the rear diff is leaking quite a bit. But it is a sweet ride. Looks good. And....mine has a dent in the bumper. What's up with that??

Wow! looks like a really, really nice truck. Good find!

Look on the driver's side valve cover, 305hp=04, 325=04.5, either way you are good to go.

Here is the door tag, yea, I noticed the rear diff as well. Will have to look into that.

So I serched and found out that a build date of 1-04+ is the 04.5 truck, so that means I have the 325hp 600tq engine then. Woot!

But, wait, is this a good thing or bad thing??????

No, i had it shipped, finally came today. Took awhile, but it's here. I love it!! Brutal on the extreme setting. Much faster than my 01 was with a 90hp chip haha.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. Excited to have a dodge again.

You need to look at the valve cover.

He can look at the valve cover to confirm that this truck is a 325 hp 600 TQ version of the Cummins but he already know that it is since all trucks built 01 04 or later are.

Congrats on the new purchase. A former neighbor of mine has an 04 in this same paint scheme & I always thought it was a great looking truck. This color is seldom seen & very attractive. Enjoy!
