Fluid Change in g56

Ive got about 25,000 miles on my stock fluid and its noticeably sticky on cold mornings. Thought i would go ahead and swap it over for some amsoil seems to be the most popular. What amsoil do i get just the ATF, and about how much do i need?

I've got Amsoil in mine. We do have some 35-45* mornings here along the coast and the Amsoil seems just as sticky as ATF+4 to me. It's especially sticky taking it out of reverse and the initial 2-3 shift. After that it's fine for the rest of the day. I got marginally improved shifts w/Amsoil. Replacing yours w/fresh ATF+4 might do the same.

Yes amsoil ATF is what you use. 6 quarts. I decided on this change to go back to the MOPAR ATF+4 from Walmart for half the price. It shifts exactly the same as it did with the AMsoil FWIW.
