fitting 35's

Have been looking at a 325/60/20 BFG all terrain... they are 35.35 in diameter and basically 12.5 wide.. Wil these fit on a 04.5 2500 QC stock heigth???

depends on which rim you are using. what is the off set and back spacing?
i have 35/12.50/18 on my truck, 3500, and stock height, but the rims are pretty much just like the factory rims in back spacing and off set, maybe slightly wider, but not much and i have no problems, no difference in trucks 2500/3500, in fact i think my last 2500- 03 truck sat a tad higher.

looking at the KMC MONSTERS 20x9 that are selling on EBAY not sure if that helps....looks like a +18 offset, but not sure what backspacing is either 5.71 or 6.38

You won't have any problems if you put on a level kit (spacer) with that wheel tire combo. Without the spacer, I think you'll rub.

I have 325/60/20 BFG's on a rim with +25 offset. It required slight trimming of the inner plastic fender. I have a two inch levelling kit, but I've had my truck all twisted up off road, and cannot get the tires to rub at all.

I'd say go for it!

ok then.. Here are two questions... 1.) what exactly is the offset??? Two would I be better off with 33's and 20's?? I am not sure what is proportionately better as most seem to run 35's...

1. Offset is a measurement from the exact center of the wheel width. If the mounting surface is closer to the inner edge of the wheel, then wheel has a negative offset. If the mounting surface is closer to the outside edge of the wheel it has a positive offset.

2. I had Les Schwab mount up 33's on 20" rims when I got my set up. It didn't look "right" to me proportionally. The 35's were. Honestly, if I were to do it over again I'd get 33's on 18" rims. The tires don't cost as much and the combo still looks great.

well, then I guess the 20x9 KMC monsters and 35x23.5x20 will fit then as it appears that they have the correct backspacing..... Does this seem right??

I have Cooper Discover STT's 35x12.50's on stock wheels and no lift. They fit just fine in the fender wells but they rub a little on the lower control arms when making hard turns.

i have the H2's and the Pro Comp extreme All-terrains which are a little under 35 inches tall i think about 34.8 or so inches i dont rub anywhere but will backing up with the wheel turned or turning and going over bumps, on flat ground there is about 1/2 inch of space between the tire and truck body i wouldnt go any bigger with out a leveling kit and probably should have one now for piece of mind

I got 275/65/20 (34"X11"/20) completely stock height and they clear on the Eagle rims, don't recall backspace off the top of my head... love the size, I have the manual if it makes any difference
