Backspacing and other wheel/tiring fitting questions? (03 2500 2WD)

Does anyone know the backspacing and bolt pattern for stock 03 2500 wheels?

Could someone also let me know if a 235/85/16 tire would fit without rubbing? It's about .1-.2" taller than stock.

Finally, I'm looking for some cheap 16"x7" steel wheels (similar to the spare) to go on this the truck. Something like AR767's. AR has a 767 that has 4" backspacing and a 8x6.5 bolt pattern.

Thanks!!

I don't think you can put 16" wheels on your truck. They won't clear the brakes

JT is correct a 16 won't fit. I just put some pacer wheels on my truck today. They were about 75$ per wheel. They are all black. The backe spacing is more than I wanted but I have a 4x4 so every thing is o.k. other thant the truck is getting dirty.

Darn! Are you sure about this? I spoke to someone who swears a new forest fighter 3/4 ton Dodge Ram has 16''s on it. Although it would make sense... no 03+ Ram comes with rims smaller than 17".

Otherwise, is there such thing as a decent 17" Mud Terrain or All Terain in a load range E or at worst D ?

Has anyone actually measured the inside of a 16" rim to check for fit? The reson I ask this is because the difference between the Dodge and Ford rotor size is less then an inch, and Fords come with 16" wheels. I have no idea if the DOdge calipers are bigger or what but I think someone needs to check for fit. The pricing on 17" tires are too high and selection too small. I've got to replace my 17" tires on my Expedition soon and I can't find a tire I like for the price I feel they are worth.
