fca / fuel rail pressure sensor
fca / fuel rail pressure sensor
i have a 2004 ram 2500 i am replacing the fca and rail pressure sensor are there any precautions or tips you can help me out with, do i have to relieve fuel pressure inthe system before i change these parts. thanks in advance
no, a lot of people have difficulty getting the screws out.
use a 1/4" ratchet with a 1/4" deep scocket with the correct torx bit to crack them loose, be sure the "CORRECT" bit is all the way in the screw before attempting to loosen, tap it in.

Lots of recent posts about the 3 Torx screws on the FCA. Madhat (admin) says he used some small bar stock (I believe it was) to tap the sides of the screws to help loosen up the loc-tite on the threads.
Rail pressure sensor......self-explanatory. Unscrew old sensor, screw in new sensor and plug in wiring harness.
