Just went out and checked mine,
It was starting to rub as well. Nothing serious yet...but it could have been. I don't have any wire loom at home but I do at work so I'll have to get some tommorow. Thanks everyone for the heads up.

So far it look's like 04.5's and 05's. But you never know. Why don't you go look and tell us what you find out.

I checked my 03 and there were no wires against the AC line but the comp. clutch wires were run over a bolt head that was wearing into the wire. The alt./batt wire, between the battery and the air filter box was against the intake heater relay steel bracket and nearly worn thru the insulation. I've had an alt/batt wire short out before and it sure makes a LOT of smoke and it's not fun to fix in a big hail storm - that stuff never happens at a good time! I also need to reroute the ground ribbon behind the starter motor. It runs from the block to the body and is wrapped around a wire bundle. They can all have problems depending on who did the routing. I fixed my wire rubbing issue tonight, I took some convaluted tubing (wire loom stuff) and tucked the wire into it, I then double wrapped it with electrical tape and finished off by securing it to the AC line by the pressure switch with a zip tie just to prevent it from rubbing,
This picture is from under the passenger side ooking up, the big round grey thing is the oil filter and to the right of the picture you can see the wire has been re-routed and zip tied to the AC line'
It was a matter of time before this would have been a severe isue, thanks everyone for the heads up!

Here is the picture reposted....there are other pics in my gallery
You can see the oil filter and AC compressor. The wire in question is the one with electrical tape and you can just make out the zip tie securing it to the AC line so it doesn't continue to rub even with convoluted tubing and tape. Mine was definitely showing signs of wear but not to bare wire yet. Others have reported some driveability issues when it rubs through.
