If your truck was gold and you were closer, I'd be interested. I would rather tow my my 5th wheel with DRW.

Which parts are you looking to swap?
The pick up bed? The axle? The 6 or 7 tires? The fenders to be taken off?
Short bed? Long Bed?

any thing and everything, I have a long bed,

I can deal with the axel hanging out if it came to it, i have a guy who will fill and paint my holes in my bed if i have too... Im not hauling anything that needs 6 wheels anymore. at 70mph im at 2k. Not sure of the gears.

I did the swap from srw to drw. Probably never do it again....was a pain and cost some money. If ya change out the whole bed then its not that bad, but buying the fender flares, paint and installing them along with finding front spacers and rear axle from drw as I did was just a lot of footwork. Also - if ya remove the fender flares there will be a section of fender cut out in addition to the holes. Just make sure the body guy knows what he's getting into as like I said - in my opinion - I'd either change out whole bed (if same color) or just get another truck.

Also had issue with GVWR sticker if you want to tow commercial as the added weight of DRW stuff gets you close to GVWR of SRW truck. There is NO way of changing the rated GVWR...I tried. But you are going the opposite way so not sure if there is a 'legal' issue if you tow heavy with a 5th wheel and get into an accident because of a blow out and not having the DRW anymore to meet the rated GAWR. Just something to think about.

Good Luck!

Yep....there`s a LOT more work involved than just filling some holes on the bedsides , as far as the bodywork goes ....as already said , they cut out pretty large areas around the wheel openings.

Good luck to you , hope you find someone close that`s willing to trade with you.

Oh i know, i have a guy who has a bed for sale same color for 1k, but im losing my bed liner... and i have full plains to do fender flares on the srw end of the deal, I know autobody have my own garage/shop (mechanical) with a miller 212 so i can get it done, i just dont like to spray.

I dont do 5th wheels, my max pull is 12,000 and its equipment mini ex, skid loader. but thats comming to a end, im down to once a month and its local driving. If i cant do it cheap then i will wait till my tires are trash and do it then no biggie.

I just replaced the whole front end in this truck along with complete brakes minus front calipers, not trading.
