It died on me!
It died on me!
Sorry guys here's my info; 04 no mods last fill up was Sunday evening, drove Mon and Tue fine. Last night going 70 down the highway it just acted like I was running out of fuel (still had 3/4 of a tank) it sputtered a bit then kind of lurched along at about 40 mph till I got to a parking lot where it died. Started it back up and moved it to a different spot then it died again. about an hour later came back to try to start it and it turned over but wouldn't ever start.
THanks for the help

It died on you? What, were you under it when it died?
Seriously, What code did it give? Your story is the classic lift pump failure story and the trouble code will confirm it.
To all you guys that have not replaced your canister mounted lift pump yet, get with it. You could be next with a story like this. Mine died on the highway too.
