I checked the Cummins site, couldn't find anything...Do you recall if that was dry or wet?

Right at or under 1000....Been a while since I weighed one. The 6.7's are just a hair over a 1000.

1030 dry
1065 wet.

3 gallons of oil and 2.62 gallons of coolant weigh more than 35 lbs.

Thank you everyone. I was trying to explain to a buddy that our blocks weigh 1/4 of his car at least.

Ya, it's like we have a Honda Gold Wing with a full tank of gas and a fat rider under the hood.

I recommend cutting out the muffler to save weight.

Lurker LHAO

Guys, Although lurking for several weeks, I'm new to this forum but a veteran of many others (LXForums, OpenRoads, SandWizards, etc.) This is one of the best-informed, funny, and Cummins-crazy group of folks around.

Didn't know the Cummins was THAT heavy, but spewed coffee all over pondering the fat guy on the Gold Wing. (Good thing I got rid of the muffler to compensate).

later.
