Went to start my truck, and for the first time ever, it just cranked without fireing. I get 3 codes: 0236, 191, and 088. The 088 had been there a long time with no consequence, but the other two just appeared. The truck was in the garage, and it was around 40F, but I plugged in the heater anyhow. Did not help. I am running a fueling box, but it is turned off. The last thing I did before this problem was to program in two new security keys, and I am wondering if something electronic got confused. Any chance of that?
Only thing (other than someone on this forum saving me) that I can think to do is to disconnect the box and try it. I have tried both of the original keys along with the newly programmed ones....no diff. Also, after programming the new keys, I did start the truck to make sure those keys would work. They did, and the truck has just sat for several days since. This is the first time I attempted to start it since....Any help is much appreciated.
