Axle oil capacities?

Can someone tell me the capacities for the front and rear axle's? I cant find it anywhere in the manual. I've decided to go with redline heavy shockproof 75w90 in the back and redline 75w90 in the front, and I wanted to be sure I ordered enough.

I just changed mine last night with Red Line. It was exactly 4 quarts in the rear (11.5) and didn't take all of 3 quarts in the front (9.25).
This was my first differential oil change and I've got about 70k on it. I took the rear and unbolted the complete cover to see if I saw any particles laying around. Everything was really clean and the oil didn't look bad at all. The filler plug magnet had junk on it, but that was all.
The front was the same - fairly clean looking oil and junk on the filler plug magnet.
I've read a lot of people talking about how much junk would be laying around due to break-in or whatever, but mine wasn't the case.

But like I said, it was 4 quarts in the rear and right at almost 3 in the front.

Ok thanks guys. Do I need to fill it up to the bottom of the fill plug hole?

Yup, you should fill 'er up until it starts to dribble out the fill hole, then plug it. The Redline oil should work great. I have had good luck with their stuff in the past. When my NV5600 fluid needs changed I will be putting Redline in there.

I'm a newbie, but from my reading on the diff's. There to be filled within a 1/4 inch of the bottom of the fill hole +/- 1/4 inch. So that would put you to the bottom of the fill hole on the + side.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I misunderstood what I've found on these forums.

What would be wrong is a little too much? When I capped mine off, the oil was right at the threads.

I guess your not following that 15K service interval?

There were two different levels that were being posted before, the front and rear were different IIRC. Filling to the bottom of the hole was within spec on the rear but not technically the front I think. The amount extra wasn't probably significant enough to cause any serious foaming I would think, but why put extra in when you not supposed to?
