So it finally happend. The tc slipped the other day pullin a load. Truck has 24k on it right now. Im really not in a spot to spend 4k on a trans. Will it be worth it to just replace the tc and vb. I will going with a goerend set-up. Will this alone take some abuse, Im not talking about boosted launches or strip runs, just some good old towing and some smoke blowin on the weekends.. Putting everything aside, Will this set-up hold if I dont beat it?

 

I think so. That's what I plan on doing. I may add a tougher flex plate also, but probably not a billet unit.
