amsoil bypass question

This is for a 2003 HO btw. When I bought my bypass kit, I got the BMK-15 because the BMK-11 wasn't around. Well, I was reading on the amsoil site today and read that they don't recommend the 15 for 2003 and newer diesels and should use the 11 kit.

Is there any problem using the 15 kit on 2003?

TIA

Without direct knowledge, and therefore might be wrong, I looked up the Amsoil website and you have the kit that replaces the full flow filter on the engine and adds it to the bypass filter kit so you have two filters on the same kit. Does that sound right to you? It seems an unnessary modification to move the fullflow to a different location is all. You should be able to make your kit work otherwise.

The system works fine, I've been running it for years now. Look on my web site for pics

that mount looks good, any problems with dripping oil onto the EM or turbo when you change filters?

Bmk-15 is still recommended for 2003 and early 2004 models. If I remember it correctly, they change the ECM programming for the 2004.5 and newer engine and made it more sensitive to oil pressure reading after start.2004.5 and newer owners have had issues with CEL on for an oil pressure code when using the -15 set up.
