Amsoil dual bypass question
Amsoil dual bypass question
Do any of ya'll have an Amsoil dual bypass setup on your rigs? I've got a really nice setup on my 03 & am looking at putting one on my 92 & was wondering where/how did you mount the plate?
I can add pics for where I mounted mine if you like. Took a little hammer work on the inner fender to mount it to fit properly but I mounted mine under the hood just back from the air box.
If I can remember, I'll take a couple pics and post them later. Right now I gotta do a little work on the old heap.
Oh and as an aside (even though you probably know) that dual bypass for the cummins is not at all cheap! I live in Canada (so it won't be as cheap as in the US) and got dealer rates and it costed me over $350 for the dual bypass system. At least it came with everything I needed to install it...

I went to Northern Tools and got hydraulic hoses to fit and mounted the filters behind the front bumper just to the passenger side of center. It is a tight squeeze. The 110 bypass filter hangs below the bumber but not the 100 or the 90. I run the 110 during the hot weather months and the short filter during hunting season.
There are some pic's in my photo gallery.
