47RE same band torque as 48RE?

I noticed in my '03 shop manual that there is no section for the 47RE.

I'm adjusting the kickdown and reverse bands as part of my 30,000 mile service (please spare me the lecture on not needing it, I want to do it "by the book", and the book says to adjust them).

The torque specs given for the 48RE adj. screw (72 in/lb) should be the same as for the 47RE you'd think, right?

Thanks in advance!

Yes, it is the same. Just remember it is INCH/pounds, not your typical Foot/pounds. That wouldn't make a good day if you did Foot/pounds.

Now, only to find a good trusting INCH/pounds torque wrench. I had a cheapy and it worked once but didn't dare trust it again.
