I am the second owner of this truck. What is my factory warranty. Is it 10/100, or 7/70? I just got a mailer yesterday telling me that I have a 7/70 and I can buy more warranty to cover the other components on the veh. What is it? 7/70 or 10/100

My truck is a early model 2004

 

7/70 is powertrain, 10/100 is cummins engine

Actually, the engine is only 7/100, not 10/100.

oops your right, sorry bout that

 

When i just bought mine I had 30 days to go to a dealer and transfer the 7-70 it cost me $150
If the 2nd owner does not do this then the 7-70 is droped and the cunnins becomes a 5-100 not a 7-100
Also the last 2 years of the cummins warranty year 6 and 7 there is a $100.00 fee for each repair. these rulls are any thing built after 10-1-03 acording to my warrenty book that came with my truck.
