2003 Won't start

When I turn the key on the fuel level and the voltage guage stay down like the truck is shut off. It will not display P codes using the three turns of the key trick. When I checked C codes I got the following:
27 64
29 64
81 00
A3 17
AA 00
00 00
Last time it started the stereo caught on fire and it blew three fuses. I replaced the fuses and now the lift pump will not come on and the preheaters do not start. I checked the fusable link going to the ECU and it is good. One of the codes is for lost communication with ECU. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Andy

When I first put the Edge on I would get the check engine light on every once in a while if I stayed in the throttle too long on level 4 or 5. I was able to get the codes then, but that was a couple of years ago. After the newness of the chip wore off and I intalled the exhaust and intake upgrades I quit getting the codes. I would get them more misfire. I am going to see if a code scanner will read the codes.

I rented a scanner from Autozone and it could not link up to the ECM, tried the unit in my Powerstroke just to make sure it worked and it is OK. I am going to have to check the power at the plug tommorow. Will check the grounds and the ignition switch power to ECM also. Will the ECM not having power cause my fuel and voltage guage on the dash not to work.
Thanks

I have power at 20,30 and 40. I have ground at 21. No ground at 49 or 50. I purchased the all data software from Autozone and cannot find where splice S164 is. The elctrical prints show all three grounds originating at that splice. It also doesn't show where ground G114 is. Niether one of these is in the indexes. The search fuction is crap, only looks up parts nor connectors, splices or grounds.
Thanks

I have power at 20,30 and 40. I have all three grounds and I have power at 32 when the key is turned on. I did not see any damage wiring to indicate that the communication leads might be damaged. I believe I may have a damaged ECM. Any thoughts? Anyone now where to get a ECM for less than $1000? I found one place on the internet last night that had them for $980.

Is this the same for an '05? I am getting ready to order a ECM monday. My problem was the volt gauge acting like yours, but my truck WAS running. I cannot pull any codes either and the dealers scanner would not communicate with the ECM.
