HotRodK, did you "adjust" the screw all the way in before you installed the elbow?

I just looked at mine and the directions state that it comes adjusted all the was in, for max boost. However, I was able to screw the bolt down even further......

My two ply wastegate silicon hose arrived today. I just need to get two clamps for it.

I am going to install it next week, along with a 5 ply silicon intercooler hose kit, and my Icebox intake.

I will repport the boost numbers hopefully by the end of next week.

A cheaper fix than the elbow is to buy a fuel cutoff valve for a 1/4 inch hose. I got one from Advance Auto parts in their lawnmower section. It is a quarter turn valve so you can adjust it just like a boost elbow and it only cost $6. Cut the hose in the middle and install. I ended up closing mine completely and that gives me about 31 lbs max boost.

if you ended up closing yours completely, what's the point of buying some cutoff valve? just plug your hose then and that's it, isn't it???

I didnt put an allen wrench on it, but I couldnt turn it more with my fingers. With the Bully Dog on Extreme, it runs REALLY well. Im very happy with the $20 spent!

I am finally going to install mine this weekend..........I was seeing 22-24 PSI, so I will be able to report what numbers I am seeing after the boost elbow install.

Mine was also finger tight, as I think it is designed that way.........so it won't back out.

I was able to turn mine about 2-3 full rotations and tighten it down more.

I am also very pleased with the layered silicon hose I bought, it is very nice.

I installed my adjustable boost elbow today, along with a new 2 ply silicon hose and new hose clamps.

Before, I was seeing 22-24, with a rare 26 PSI.

After the install, I am seeing 36, 37, and 38 PSI.

I am pleased!..........nice uprade for a $20 and $15 for the clamps and silicon hose.
