hello all my brother in law bought an 03 about a week ago yesterday it cranked over but did not start i have heard a couple of different problems like crank position sensor or something about no fuel and need to drop fuel tank and add a fuel pump (a kit from dealer) or some kind of pump that goes attached behind the fuel filter which has a secondary fuel filter. what would be the best fix and what do we need to get it back on the road thanks

Any codes? Turn key from of to on 4 times ending in the on position. Codes will appear in the odo screen. Could be numerous things.

no codes did start up and has been starting up in the last few hours

probably will start good cold, but not after it warms up...probably needs new injectors or maybe a lift pump

figuered it out seems that the 03 came with one original key made a copy and the copy would not work only the original truck might have a smart key will be going to the dealer to get copies or more info thanks to all

Well if thats not it, my 03 did the same thing and I took it to dealership and they replaced all 6 injectors and it ran fine, they said they just went bad?

I had my truck reflashed and it's been starting better
