First mistake was going to the dealership when the trucks off warranty for work They charge ATLEAST double for CRAP parts. Here's a set for $640, don't have these and not sure how they are, but i'm sure they are miles better then the ones the dealer will put in, and for a faction of the price.

All i have to say is Flux 1's. They will cost you 1200 for tips and 100 a piece to rebuild yours. Enough said.

Dude, brand spanking new injectors that have never seen diesel fuel can be had for 450-500 a piece, that dealer is a JOKE, like most of them are. I can always count on a good "dealer" story to further instill my faith in them. Jay

Here is instructions with a list of tools to use to Remove and Install injectors. It is pretty straight forward and pretty simple to do in a couple hours. It is looks more daunbting than it really is.

That sounds about right, your truck is an 03, those are a little cheaper than 04.5 and up. Make sure once you get everything fixed you call up the dealer and tell them, it will give you some satisfaction. Jay

Tre

Another vote for Tim at TRE. He hooked a buddy of mine up and I know that's what I will be doing in the future. Here's his link http://www.trediesel.com/

I've replaced 3 injectors on my 03 and they cost $385 each, rebuilt. I found out something the other day to think about when shops say your injectors are bad. Do a double check on the Cam sensor. It it's having some trouble it can make your injectors act up making it seem as if the injectors are bad while the culprit is the cam sensor.

Or the shorted wire that gives power to the cam sensor. See above sticky noted thread. A wire will short on the A/C lines above the compressor causing issues. Read the thread.
