Ram 4500/5500 Cancelation being Reconsidered

It looks like DC is reconsidering its decision not to produce medium duty Rams. Lets hope that they get thier act together and produce them. Ram 4500/5500 Article

Joe

Re:Ram 4500/5500 Cancelation being Reconsidered

It's about time!! I didn't want to have to purchase a Ford F550 after college for hauling horses... but I didn't have a choice. Now maybe I'll be able to get the Ram 5500 I've always dreamed of!

Great post! Thanks!

Really Cool. I would really like to see that happen. So would DC be able to use are Cummins ISB in the new trucks? I know Ford has are Cummins Diesel in there commercial truck. But i don't know what size commercial trucks there in. I think Ford has a Cat diesel in there medium-duty commercial trucks two. I think the powerstroke is the basic equipment in there truck.
Well I wonder who will build the drive train? I would really like to see Eaton Fuller get into it. It should be intresting if it ever happens. -Anthony

I just hope they don't make a lame commercial like Ford has released with the truck pulling the ship on ice.

[move]I want to see a Cummins pulling the Tropicana girls around!![/move]

Good thing that Ford gets their original ideas from Chevy, I wonder what they will think of next. First they had a V8 Diesel so did Ford, Then it took a Chevy to pull a boat that was unlikely onto shore, now a Ford that drags a boat through ice with no traction. How do they sell anything Dodges are doing all the REAL work. CoooooooooooooL!!!!! PK

Its almost as stupid as the Ford pulling the boat. You know the sad thing is some people probably actually believe it and go and buy a Ford : .

Joe[/quote]

IMHO, if this happens, they will most likely go with the MBE900 6.4 litre engine. This is just MHO though.
