What would you offer for this truck? They are asking 22,900 for it, but I think that is outrageously high for that many miles on that truck. $19,500?
What's everyone think? Or are they right with it?

Of course they're asking more than they think they will settle for. The actual value depends pretty much on the local market and condition. The miles are not a concern unless it hauled hay all it's life. If it's never been BOMBed and looks great and has no problems they'll get a lot for it.
How does it compare to others in your area for condition and price? It's sure a nice looking truck. If you really want it (don't let on to the dealer) Tell him the most you will pay is around $18,000. Then you may settle for around $19,000 or so. Get the truck you want but save some money. Of course give it a very close inspection, and long test drive first. Read through this site and see what to keep an eye out for. Like make sure after you drive it and it is good and warm let in set for about 40+ minutes and see if it will strat right up, other wise it may need a new lift pump or injection pump.
Procut, give me a pm on what your lookin for, I might be able to help you out. I can get a lead on quite a few different trucks around iowa here that Are alot cheaper than that. might be a little higher miles, but.. nicer!
Heres one. if not liking this one, this dealer has a few others around that are relly nice and prices are hot!http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...=en&cardist=50

Truck was sold at Forest Lake, MN, and the owner lived there too. If it were a rust free AZ truck it might bring that price up there, but I would have it inspected if you are thinking of buying. Rusty doors, ball joints, rusty corroded rotors, etc..... If it needs brakes, chances are the rotors may be corroded so bad they can't be used...and then the rust seizes them to the hubs and you end up replacing the hub and rotor assy. Easy to get a 600-800 brake job on them.
