Re:Free Cup Holder Offer

Kinda scary to think that a line of code sent over the internet can control the computer sitting on you desk. [undecided]

Re:Free Cup Holder Offer

It depends on what OS you have, what patches you have and such. If you are running Windows 95 or 98 first edition there are all kinds of things that can happen. If you have NT4, 2000, or XP and keep the security updates current you are a LITTLE safer.

Oh Ok, so that's what it was. Well, didn't happen. Ol' "you are a dark hole in the web galaxy" firewall worked well. If it happened to you, you might want to check your computer security.

~Dave

Re:Free Cup Holder Offer

Hardware firewalls work much better! I have a $90 Linksys 4 port DSL Router Firewall. Very fire and forget... We use them for work connected SOHO DSL connected sites.
