Trading in my SLT 02 4x4 ext cab short bed

130K miles, Ranch Hand front and rear, General Grabber AT2 295/75R16 with 7K miles on them, bed liner, toolbox, electronic brake controller, new Bilstein HD shocks. Never goose necked. A few dings, nothing major. 1 owner. Religiously serviced throughout the life of the truck.

Before I trade, I thought I'd see if anyone was interested in it. I'm in the NW Arkansas area.

you shouldn't trade that in....dealership gives you nothing for your truck....you should sell to private party....there's a huge market for these trucks & you would come out much better....

The $tealer$hip is only going to give you book for it but we all know these things go for way more than book all the time.

I think it's OK to call yourself an idiot, just not other people.

Getting rid of the truck so I can get a Mega Cab, easier to get the kid in and out of. Believe me, I hate getting rid of this truck. Will post on the Classifieds with pics.

What you're 3yr old won't fit in the back seat anymore? Yea, this has always been my gripe about the backseat... I agree and would go w/the mega.

I know the feeling, the kids carseats take up all the depth of the backseat so I end up pressed against the steering wheel so their feet aren't cramped.

I could use a mega longbed for sure, I just love my 01.5!

You guys should consider yourselves lucky that you at least have the suicide doors in the back. My '96 doesn't even have that so its really a PITA to get the kids in there. Once they're in I don't find there is a problem with the room back there for them. They're 3 and 7 so it might become a problem down the road.

THe back seat is ok for the kids but uncomfortable as can be for a 6'-3" dude sharing it with a possibly 6'-3" Rough Coat Collie lap dog!

Never again, man, never again!

I guess being only 5 1/2 foot has its advantages.
