Stupid Question

When I got my 04.5, I gave my '99 to my Dad. However, with the rising fuel prices and the fact that my sister and bro-in-law gave Mom and Dad a Honda minivan, the '99 doesn't get driven as much as l'd like to see it driven. Since the minivan has arrived, Dad is using it rather than the Dodge. My Mom has driven it and really likes it!!! The only problem being she is 5'2" tall with short legs. Even with the seat all the way forward and the wheel tilted down she cannot comfortably push the clutch all the way in!!! She has driven it with cushions behind her to be able to reach!!! Is there a solution other than blocks on the pedals for her??? My Dad seems to prefer the minivan rather than the "real truck". I didn't "give" my old truck to them to let it just sit. If you know what I mean!!!!!! It's a lean, mean, growling diesel machine that likes to be run!!!!! I'm just afraid of problems with it from sitting. I never let it do that!!!

P.S. Original lift pump and VP44 with over 150k on her!!!

Didn't some of the later Rams have an adjustable pedal cluster?
Might be something that could be retrofitted.

When I asked this question a few years ago somebody mentioned that you could put a different pushrod in. I'm no mechanic, so don't ask me any more about this but maybe it will rattle somebody elses brain.
