questions about 96

hi guys its my first time in this forum im in the 1st gen forum usualy but here goes im gonna go take a look at a 96 extra cab auto tomorrow what do i need to watch for i dont no much about 2nd gens what are the + compared to 1st gens

heres what i no about this truck its a 96 longbed auto king cab with o/d 4x4 with about 155000miles on it has verygood rubber body is in good shape i no nothing about interior

truck is auctionned tommorow so i need the dirt on these trucks what can i expect down the road

Pretty much the front end (bushings, etc.). 2nd gen 12v is pretty similar to your 1st gen 12v.

I just sold mine, pretty much nothing wrong or major with it. A great truck.
Auto transmission will have same issues if you bomb truck, and a little less mpg than a 5 speed.

Knowing where you are , Take a good look around under the truck , look up in the wheel wells , cab mounts , etc , stuff can get pretty rusty , the body panels will rust through from the back.
