Parking brake release cable...

Are there any replacement release cables? Mine broke, had it rigged for a while, and it's about to break again. Can't find any replacement part without buying the entire pedal assembly.

Thanks

Any more clues? All I can find are the cables that go from the pedal assembly to the drums.

Thanks

Uh, I thought you were looking for the cable that went from the pedal to the adjuster.

Do you mean the intermediate cable or extension cable that hooks the front cable from the pedal to the rear cables?

If so, check out Raybestos BC94689 intermediate cable from Rock Auto, $ 3.28 each.

No, not that one....the release cable from the handle under the dash to the pedal assembly, to release the brake after it's been set. Got one from the dealer this morning...cable with handle for $32.00.

^^^^Gummed up old grease on the mechanism at the pivot under the dash.

Try hittin it with some wd40 or other solvent to loosen it up.

My pedal is a little worn, and I have to kind of angle my foot so that it pushes the e-brake pedal toward the clutch pedal as I'm pushing it down. Also, make sure the release isn't hanging up on the pedal assembly.
